Houston, TX – A Texas state trooper shot a suspect while executing a warrant with Houston police and Harris County deputies on Thursday afternoon. The operation, which took place around 1:38 p.m. at 8301 Willow Place Dr S, aimed to arrest two individuals linked to a series of four armed robberies.
According to officials, as officers attempted to take the suspects into custody, one of them tried to escape through a window while holding a firearm. In response, a Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) trooper fired at the suspect, striking them in a non-life-threatening area. Emergency medical services (EMS) arrived on the scene and transported the injured suspect to a nearby hospital for treatment.
