When Minutes to Midnight took the stage at POST Houston, they had one mission, bring Linkin Park’s Hybrid Theory to life for its anniversary. And they delivered.
The Houston-based tribute band has been making a name for itself across Texas, recreating the energy and sound of Linkin Park’s live performances. But this wasn’t just another gig, this was a full-album performance, a throwback to one of the most influential records of the early 2000s.
The Show: A High-Energy Performance from Start to Finish

The moment the first notes of Papercut hit, the crowd was all in. From Crawling to Runaway, Points of Authority to A Place for My Head, every song sounded crisp, tight, and true to the original recordings.
Michael Cantu nailed Chester Bennington’s vocal range, handling both the aggressive screams and melodic choruses with ease. Linh Tran kept the flow smooth, delivering Mike Shinoda’s rap verses while adding his own stage presence.

Antonio Sanchez’s guitar work was spot on, capturing those heavy riffs that defined Hybrid Theory. The band’s chemistry was obvious. They weren’t just playing the songs, they knew them inside out.
One of the biggest crowd moments came with In the End. As expected, everyone sang along, turning POST Houston into a full-on throwback party.
A Standout Moment: “One More Light”
While the set was mostly high energy, the performance of One More Light stood out. Before playing, Michael took a moment to dedicate the song to Chester Bennington’s legacy.
The band kept the arrangement simple, letting the lyrics and melody shine. And the crowd? They knew every word. Hearing hundreds of voices sing along created a memorable moment, one that reminded everyone why Linkin Park’s music still resonates today.

Minutes to Midnight isn’t just a cover band; they’re dedicated to delivering the Linkin Park experience with the right sound, energy, and respect for the music.
