HOUSTON, TX – A bizarre and violent confrontation in northwest Houston Monday night ended with two men shot and one suspect in custody after a fight involving a pistol, a crossbow, and a baseball bat.


The incident unfolded in the 10100 block of Westview near Conrad Sauer, where two groups of men reportedly got into an argument that quickly turned physical and dangerous. According to Houston Police, one man pulled a pistol, another armed himself with a crossbow, and a third brought a baseball bat into the conflict.
When the confrontation escalated, gunfire erupted. Two men suffered gunshot wounds—one of them being the man who had produced the crossbow. Emergency crews transported both injured individuals to a nearby hospital. Police say both are in stable condition and expected to recover.
The man with the gun fled the scene after the shooting, prompting a brief search by officers. He was later located and taken into custody. Witnesses saw him placed in the back of a patrol car in handcuffs.
Police continue to investigate the scene and gather evidence. No charges have been announced at this time.
