Houston, TX – Gun violence continues to surge in Houston as another deadly shooting unfolded on Saturday afternoon at the Willow Green apartment complex in northwest Houston. The shooting, which occurred at 8301 Willow Place Drive North near Willow Chase Drive, left an 18-year-old male dead and two others injured.
Houston police responded to reports of gunfire around 2:07 p.m. and arrived to find three victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One man was pronounced dead at the scene, while two others were transported to a hospital for treatment. Their current conditions remain unknown.
Several individuals have been detained for questioning, and multiple firearms were recovered from the scene. Authorities have yet to determine the motive behind the shooting as the investigation remains ongoing.
