New details have emerged following Monday’s deadly shooting in the 1500 block of South Pruett Street in Baytown.
According to police, two men who knew each other were involved in an argument before one allegedly shot the other. The victim died, and a suspect is in custody.
A witness described the moments leading up to the shooting, alleging that the victim had left a nearby store on a bicycle when a man emerged from a white truck and opened fire. The witness claimed the gunman continued shooting as the victim attempted to flee.
The witness also described a possible earlier confrontation between the two men. However, these additional details have not been independently confirmed by police.
