We are relieved to report that Chloie Brewer-Clark, the 12-year-old girl from Houston at the center of an AMBER Alert, has been found alive near Houston. Chloie was located shortly after a man, identified as a person of interest, was detained in Baton Rouge on Tuesday.
“Chloie Brewer-Clark has been located safe and back with her family,” Houston Police announced on X. “A male suspect has been detained for questioning. We continue to work with our law enforcement partners in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area, as this investigation remains ongoing at this time.”

Houston, TX 7-29-2024 – The community is on high alert after a 12-year-old girl, identified as Chloie Dianne Brewer-Clark, has been reported missing. She was last seen wearing pajamas featuring the popular cartoon character SpongeBob SquarePants. According to the Life360 app, her last known location was the Crystal Inn & Suite Motel.
She drove to the motel using her mother’s truck. It was located in the parking lot, raising concerns about her safety. A witness, said to be an employee at the motel, reported that Chloie was seen meeting with an adult male at the location.
Information circulating online has identified a person of interest whom Chloie may have met. This individual checked into the motel and was later seen leaving in a black 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe with Louisiana license plates.
Family members are urging anyone with information to come forward to help bring Chloie home safely. They are asking the community to help ensure her safe return.
