Mother and Daughter Found Dead in Northwest Harris County Home; HCSO Investigating

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a possible murder-suicide after two women were found dead inside a home in northwest Harris County early Saturday morning.

Deputies were called to a residence in the 17900 block of Timber Crossing Lane, near Barker Cypress and West Road, shortly after 7:00 a.m. following reports of an emergency involving two unresponsive individuals.

Upon arrival, authorities discovered a woman in her late 70s and her daughter, believed to be in her early 50s, both deceased inside the home. According to investigators, the daughter’s 50-year-old husband found the women and immediately attempted CPR. Paramedics arrived and continued life-saving efforts, but both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

At this time, the sheriff’s office is treating the case as a possible murder-suicide but has not ruled out the potential for homicide. Investigators remained on scene for several hours Saturday morning, collecting evidence and speaking with witnesses.

The identities of the victims have not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin. No further details have been made public.

The investigation is ongoing. Updates will be provided if they become available.
