HUMBLE, TX — Main Street in Humble was buzzing with excitement on Friday, October 10, as families, car lovers, and kids of all ages came out for the 3rd Annual Music & Motors Trunk or Treat. The free event delivered a night full of candy, costumes, music, and plenty of shiny cars to admire.
What started three years ago as a small neighborhood gathering has grown into one of Humble’s favorite Halloween traditions. This year, the full Radiator Springs crew made a special appearance, delighting children and families who lined up for photos. Classic and custom cars filled the street, while local musicians played live tunes, and food trucks offered plenty of tasty bites.
The night was packed with fun contests, including a pet costume contest sponsored by Friends of the Humble Animal Shelter and awards for the best-decorated vehicles. Families were busy snapping photos, collecting candy, and enjoying the festive atmosphere created by the many local sponsors who helped make the event possible, including On Site Towing, Friends of the Humble Animal Shelter, and other area businesses.
“It’s amazing to see the community come together like this,” said one organizer. “Music & Motors Trunk or Treat has become a place where families can celebrate Halloween, enjoy cool cars, and just have a great time together.”
For kids and adults alike, the event offered the perfect combination of spooky fun and small-town charm. Whether it was meeting favorite characters, checking out dazzling rides, or just enjoying live music and good food, attendees left with smiles, full candy bags, and a real sense of community.
